Tiki Blue is a beautiful 42' Beneteau luxury sailboat with dark blue hull and teak wooden decks. A classic beauty who has been sailed on the San Francisco Bay in races and cruises since 2005.
Skipper/owner Gary Troxel, an avid racer on the bay, yacht club Commodore and veteran Pacific Cup racer to Hawaii, knows the best areas to go on the bay for sight seeing and sailing fun.
Tiki Blue is beautifully appointed with a salon and two staterooms, two heads, full galley. Built in stereo system, inside and out, with connection for ipod.
Guests can enjoy as much of the hands on sailing as they would like, or leave it all to the skipper.
My family had an awesome time with Gary and his incredible boat. He was very easy-going, allowing for total flexibility with regard to our destinations. We ended up hitting the weather jackpot by the time we arrived in Angel Island and enjoyed an hour there, relaxing and eating. Gary has some awesome stories to tell from his race to Hawaii so make sure to ask.
The boat is 42 feet and very high end with gorgeous teak all around the cabin. Everything worked well, the boat was clean, plenty of room for food (including refrigerator and ice chest). One person in our group even took a refreshing nap.
First rate experience overall!
