23 foot comfortable run about, that is great for cruising, water sports, anchoring for lunch/dinner and taking dip in the water.
Roomy, well maintained 23 feet bow rider with deep V hull. A deep V-hull provides a smooth ride through choppy waters and provides a nice wake in the back. This separates if from a regular ski boat, which can't handle waves over 2 feet.
Additionally, It has a large v8 engine for watersports and strong performance. Nice stereo system with Bluetooth and subwoofer (also aux jack). Wake board can be provided. Air chair (hydrofoil) is shown but requires training. I have two different style tubes, one is for putting kids on, which has 2 separate compartments and then a 3 person lay on top tube. Can fit up to 10 people total (totally packed), but 4-6 people is optimum if to wakeboarding and tubing.
Bimini in middle provides good sun and rain protection. Also have noodles and a variety of floaties. A table can be put up in the front bow section too for having lunch or dinner on the water. There is a swim ladder on back for ease of entering and exiting the boat. There is a small head (potty) on the boat.
I don't always get messages on this platform at work, so see my contact info if you want to get a hold of me quicker and multiple questions.

How far can I go?
Staying the DC area (Georgetown/ Key Bridge to National Harbor/Alexandria) is preferred because the Army Corps of Engineers and DC Gov clean the river of logs and debris. Farther down to Mt Vernon can be a bit more treacherous with sunken logs. The gas down river can be an issue too (the gas stations sometimes pump their tanks dry which pulls off the top 4 inches of bad gas in the tank). The best views are in the DC area from my experience. If there is a problem I can quickly get you in DC, a tow from Mt. Vernon is around 4+ hours back.
Todd made it super easy to take his awesome 23 footer out for the day. He was very accommodating with our schedule, and even found us a bottle opener and corkscrew last minute. We were also very pleased with the little extras onboard, like a phone charger and audio plugin. Will definitely rent again next season!
I had a great experience renting from Todd. He was very easy to work with, very flexible, and extremely helpful throughout the entire process. The boat was really nice, as well, and the marina and location are also ideal. The boat is in excellent condition and performed really well. It was clear that Todd obviously maintains the boat with care. The boat was perfect for a fun day on the Potomac, and I'm looking forward to taking it out again sometime. I explored the river, stopped at Georgetown, Alexandra and Yards Park. Once again, Todd was great to work with and the boat was really nice. Don't hesitate to rent this boat. You'll have a great time.
Todd was easy to communicate with on his cell phone. The boat was in good shape, he provided life vests for all the 9 year olds, a tube and even a wakeboard. We tubed Sunday morning by the memorial bridge and everyone had a blast. The boat was great for cruising, swimming and tubing and the bimini top works awesome. The boat does handle the waves well, and can easily pull a tube. Thanks Todd for making your boat available for our family fun!
Todd was great, response and very friendly. He showed us the ropes and filled up the tank with us to get us on our way quickly. The boat was in decent shape and had some power. We've wanted to do this for years and had a fun time with the family and friends on the Potomac. Thank you Todd and thank you Boatbound for making this possible.
We had a great experience renting from Todd. He was helpful getting us situated with the boat, and the transfer was seamless. Todd has all sorts of water-toys to enhance the experience. We enjoyed wake boarding and soaking in the rays. Will definitely rent from Todd again.
This was the perfect boat for a day out on the Potomac in the sun! I wanted to surprise my boyfriend for his birthday with the chance to get out on the water with some friends, and he absolutely loved it. We fit 10 people without an issue (though those sitting in the front got a little wet on the choppy water around Hains Point, partly due to the windy conditions -- beyond that, there was plenty of space for everyone and we all stayed dry). We were able to anchor off Roosevelt Island near Georgetown harbor and just enjoy the sun, the view, and some snacks. The sound system was great, and the boat was very easy to navigate after Todd's quick safety and operation demo.
I would definitely recommend calling Todd directly rather than going through the site -- he was very responsive by phone and text. The price was very reasonable -- I took it out from 12-4 at the half day rate, which was perfect for our trip. Would definitely rent from him again!
Todd's boat was awesome! I took the boat out with a group of friends in their twenties, and we had an awesome day. It was definitely roomy enough to fit 10 people as he mentions in his description and having the speakers was fantastic. Todd had the boat ready for us to go, and even though we didn't use them, also provided tubes and a wake board.
The one negative was that it was a bit difficult to coordinate with Todd. I had to contact him many times to confirm the timing of the rental and did not confirm until the morning of the rental, which was stressful when coordinating with a group. I recommend contacting him by phone as it's definitely the most effective.
Thanks Todd for a fun day on the boat!
We took a group of six girls out for an evening on the water with Todd and his crew for a farewell celebration. Todd went above and beyond our expectations and we couldn't have had a better night! We weren't planning on getting in the water, but wanted to be within a good view of the monuments for sunset. Todd anchored us by his house boat and let us use it all night long. His boat was the perfect size for all of us and we'd love to use it again. It was just what we needed, and it was the perfect way to spend the evening.
Hello All! Was fortunate enough to be able to rent Todd’s Maxum last weekend to take my teen daughters and two of their friends tubing! It was an awesome experience for all of us! Todd’s boat was super, great performance, clean, lots of room, stereo was awesome and was great for tubing! Todd took extra time to go over all aspects of his boat and offered many tips to ensure an enjoyable day. Not only did Todd share his knowledge of his boat and the water sport we were planning he also shared his knowledge of the DC portions of the Potomac (which I’m not all that familiar with) as well as other water sports (such as wake boarding) and how beginners could get started. Overall a great experience and I learned a lot from Todd – he really went out of his way to ensure the girls and I had a great day! Can’t wait to hook up with him again!!
