Easy to sail, simple pure sailing enjoyment.
Beautiful Islander 32, 1977 in great shape. New main, roller furling jenny for easy sailing. Located at Cypress Marine on the Magothy River, 730 Cypress Rd, Severna Park, MD 21146.

Sailing on Felicity was a great experience! Warren is incredibly helpful and its really clear that he wants you to have a great time. Felicity is in a great location with easy access to the Bay but plenty of protected waters to relax in as well. Felicity is just a nice proper sail boat. My wife and I had a great time and look forward to taking her out again soon!
Warren was a great host! Felicity handled well, and I will be taking her out again. I can't say enough about Warren though. My 11 yr old son got sea sick and we headed back in. Warren offered to pick us up at a closer marina so that we could get my son off the water sooner. We appreciate his thoughtfulness and recommend renting from Warren to everyone!!
Warren was a great host. He met me at the boat and went over everything and answered all my questions. My family and I had a great time. We will definitely be booking with Warren again. Warren was very accommodating regarding the fuel fill up.
We had a great time with Felicity for our 2-day weekend trip on Chesapeake. We went to Rock Hall for the night. The return was a little bit rocky (20-25kts, a reef in the main and half of the genoa rolled up) during which Felicity behaved very well. As other said, the boat does not have all modern amenities (no knotmeter or wind display for example), but all the important equipment for safety, rigging, sails, engine, is in good shape. I will definitely rent Felicity again!
We had a great time on Warren's sailboat for a mid-week sail on the Chesapeake Bay. We had about 5-10 knots of wind all day and averaged about 4 knots sailing. The highlight was sailing under the Chesapeake Bay Bridge. Warren met us at the marina as we returned up the Magothy River and helpfully advised us on how to navigate into the slip.
Warren is very easy to work with, very accommodating and very helpful. His boat is well kept and and in good shape. It sails well and handles 15 knots and 2 ft on the bay easily. We had a great time and will definitely consider Warren for future rentals.
My husband and I took the boat out for an overnight trip and had a great time! The boat is holding up pretty well for her age, but like other reviews have said, don't expect a lot of modern conveniences. That was just fine for us! We sailed to Cantler's for dinner (which I would absolutely recommend doing!), anchored in Cedarwood Cove (which was a little buggy) and sailed back the next day. We were planning on sailing to Annapolis but the wind wasn't cooperating so we headed back a little early. We got a great day and a half of sailing in and would absolutely do it again! Thanks Warren!
Our family of five had a great time aboard Felicity this past weekend. Warren was a pleasure to work with and was very obliging, even allowing us to leave a vehicle at his house because the marina only has a spot for one. As prior reviewers have stated, Felicity is an older boat and doesn't have all of the modern conveniences some may be used to, but she is fun to sail and suited our needs just fine. We are already talking about renting her from Warren again in the fall, hoping to have a bit more wind!
Warren was a terrific host, very accessible with all the support we needed to get underway, learn about the boat, and recommendations on places to explore in the region. Everything about the boat was clean and comfortable, just as described. She's an older boat, without modern amenities, yet we were very content to spend three days aboard and had all we needed. The sailing handling was excellent in all wind conditions.
Warren was easy to work with and Felicity was just as advertised. It's an older boat, but everything is ship-shape and in working order. The interior is in great condition and has a cozy, old-school feel to it with wood paneling. One nice mod-con is the new stereo, iPhone connector provided. The slip is on the end, easy to get into and out of. We had a lovely early-season day sail.
Felicity ! She's just the best !
Warren was a great host. The boat ran smoothly and when we didn't know exactly how something worked (difficulty with panel, etc.), he was very response. It is roomy enough for six to sleep, plus two others on deck. I really recommend the Felicity and hope to be back soon.
Excellent experience overall. Warren met us at his boat, explained the basics to us and within 10 minutes we were off sailing. The boat was docked at the end of the pier and ready to sail. Had great weather so that helped a lot. The boat was clean and everything worked as it was supposed to. We'll definitely return soon!
We had a great sail on Felicity on August 26, my boyfriend and I rented it for a day midweek. We had an e-mail communication with Warren prior to the rental, he was very informative and kind in his responses, even offered us a practice sail prior to the rental (which we did not end up doing, but nevertheless it was very nice of him to offer). The boat is in a very good and clean condition and it was a pleasure to have it for an entire day. The rental, check in and check out process was extremely smooth. Warren was a true gentleman and very gracious throughout the entire communication and process.
Felicity was in fine working order and gave us a trouble free day on the water. Warren couldn't have been easier to deal with, and was responsive and available throughout the process. Looking forward to our next day (or more) out on the water.
We had a great day sailing, the boat id in very good conditions and sails nicely. Warren was very welcoming and adapted to our needs. Will definitely rent it again.
We had a great experience on Warren's boat. The boat was in great shape and worked flawlessley. Also, he provided a stereo with smartphone charging and docking so we could listen to music from our devices. Warren was very helpful in explaining how everything worked and what a good cruising itinerary would be. As we returned, Warren brought fresh tomatos from his garden. We plan to rent again in the future.
Had a pleasant day sail last Saturday out of the Magothy into the Bay and across toward Rock Hall, up the Bay and back around toward North Point State Park, then down to Gibson island. Air was light until a little after noon and then it picked up. The boat sails well, moving a lot faster than it seems. It was hot but the Bimini protected us from sunburn. Overall, I forestalled any mutinies so everything ended well. Warren (the owner) was helpful and always responds promptly if you need anything. You will have a good sail with 'Felicity'.
Capt Warren was great to deal with!
We had a wonderful time on the bay with the Islander!
The Felicity is well maintained, well equipped, and sails well. The engine runs perfectly, all is as described. In addition, Warren has been very flexible, and very welcoming with our family. The check-in and check-out was very simple, and he provided great advices on places to explore in the Bay. We spent a wonderful WE and will book again soon.
We had a grand time on the Felicity, which we chartered for an ambitious cruise down the Bay to Oxford and back. The boat performed admirably, despite moderate-to-high winds and heavy seas. The boat is well-outfitted and comfortable, the sails and rigging are perfect for a crew of just two, and the engine is reliable and (always important) starts easily when you need it. We will be chartering the Felicity again, whether for a daysail or another overnight voyage.
Warren was very helpful, knowledgeable, responsive, and friendly. The boat is older but it is comfortable and sails well. The sails are in good shape. I'm going to suggest to Warren that he replace a few of the lines that are showing wear, but it is a nice boat and we had a great day.
We had a great time on the Felicity !! We didn't have a lot of wind but she sailed very smoothly and comfortable and the engine starts and runs perfectly ! Warren is a super great and welcoming host and I look forward to taking the Felicity out again !
Warren was very helpful and I would charter with him in the future.
The Islander is a fine choice for those looking for the good old boat experience. All equipment worked as promised. The helm has a great feel to it. We had a very nice day on the Chesapeake Bay . The boat sailed well in varying conditions from 5 to 15 knts.
