This Chris Craft is an ideal and very manageable boat for a leisurely day on the water. It is easy to operate and has an ideal and well designed layout for good size groups!
If you are looking for the perfect boat for a relaxing day on the water, go no further! I have rented my boat many times and each and every client comments that my Chris-Craft is the perfect size and layout for a group of up to 12. They all comment that it is "not too big and not too small," easy to drive and smooth on the water. The Chris-Craft 262 Sport Deck is a very well-designed deck boat that can entertain a small crowd with room to spare.
As of September 2015, this boat has a brand new engine with just a few hours on it.
There is seating for many, cup holders for all, swim platforms for swim and diving, and power to spare for water sports. This boat is in great shape and has very few hours logged.
She comes with bimini top for shade when needed. The roomy cockpit has rear L-shaped lounge, captain and companion bucket seats, and bow sun lounges. Between the bow seating area and the cockpit we have two compartments. The starboard helm compartment provides a safe storage area and houses the Clarion AM/FM/CD stereo that provides music throughout the boat. The port side compartment is home to the head compartment with head and sink. In-deck storage compartments keep skis and wakeboards at hand but out of the way. A starboard transom door provides easy access to an extended swim platform with boarding ladder and freshwater shower. This is a perfect day boat to entertain family and friends with no one left behind.
This Sport Deck is powered by a 5.7L Volvo Penta GSi engine with DuoProp sterndrive, 280 horsepower. She has been dry stored and has been well maintained.
The Chris-Craft 262 Sport Deck takes the sport deck design to a lofty level. There's plenty of seating for friends and kids, plus there's a private head compartment. The 262 has a slick, concealed boarding ladder up at the bow, a great stereo, and tons more goodies, all standard.

Gregory is a great guy who is very easy going. He made things very easy and simple. His boat was great, ran well and easy to drive. We were 5 adults and 3 children and the boat was able to accommodate us all with room to spare. He also let us keep the boat longer than expected which was super nice of him. Overall great experience and Gregory was a great guy/boat host! Thanks again!
We had a Blast !
100% of Pure Fun with the Family !
Gregory is very professional and reliable in all aspects.
He was at the Marina on time with the boat ready for departure.
He brief me in how to operate the boat, area, maps, emergency procedures, radio, etc...
We left the Marina at 10:00am and back at 07:30pm.
The boat is very comfortable, runs very good and fits easy 8 adults or a combination of 6 adults and 4 small children.
We navigate from the Marina, north to almost Commercial Blvd via the Inter-coastal.
Than, back south, we stopped at a small beach shown on the map by Greg for fun and swimming with the kids.
In the afternoon, we went even more South to Hollywood Blvd, than, north to Las Olas Blvd, and back to the Marina.
We spent 23 gallons at $5.10 per gallon = $116.00.
Gregory gave me a the boat in the morning with full tank of gas. (The Boat holds up to 90 gallons)
I choose to let Greg fill it up at the marina after my trip, and he deduct the $116.00 from the $500.00 deposit.
Thanks Greg for the weekend Blast !
