SALMON ARE IN SACRAMENTO!
DUNGENESS CRAB SEASON STARTS 11/5!
THE RAIN HAS TRIGGERED A HOT STURGEON BITE!
Safe, offshore and inland fishing boat. Reliable twin engine design, includes a 3rd engine as a kicker for trolling.
Since this boat sits in my driveway 90% of the time, there's opportunity for other people to use it!
Why get on a charter when you can be your own captain? Cruise the bay, fish the coast, see the city - whatever you want to do. All coast guard safety equipment, prepped and ready to go.
Experienced captains only. A minimum of 5 years boating experience in the area that you want to go.
I can attend as a coach (not a captioned charter) if you want to go somewhere new. As I am not a licensed captain, I cannot legally host a party of people and drag them around the water. YOU GET TO DRIVE! I can simply show you the details if you desire.
Catch Salmon, Dungeness Crabs, Rock Cod, Lingcod, Halibut and Striped Bass.
This is on a trailer - so it can be delivered anywhere. Salmon are currently running in the rivers through the delta. Striped bass fall run is to starting in the carquinez straight and western delta!
Multi-day discounts available! You need a place to dock the boat though. This would be ideal if you wanted to do something like fish the Dungeness Crab opening in Bodega. 5 guys, and 5 pots will have your 50 crabs in 6 hours. Two days and you have 100 crabs for 5 guys. The yield drops dramatically after opening weekend and especially when the commercial guys get to go out. I'm already there on a buddy's boat - so I can bring this up for you!
This isn't a business or a big corporation - this is just me and my boat. It's an opportunity for you to try out a good sized fishing boat. Maybe you are in the market? Maybe you want to see how twin engines compare to singles? Maybe you just want to get off the couch and do something!

Number of effective fisherman:
Trolling: 3-5 depending on depth differences. I usually troll 2 on the downriggers and one with a weight. You can use stackers on the riggers, but each time I used them there was a tangled mess.
Top water: You can troll 3 with the pole holders and 5 if you use the outriggers. The captain has to keep a seriously straight path with that much gear in the water.
Drift fishing: 4 off the rear of the boat and another 2 off the bow.
You need an experienced crew to run lots of line.
